New to DAVE version 8
* DFS - DAVE, along with Thursby’s other products, are the only Macintosh client-side solutions with built-in support for Microsoft’s Distributed File Systems. This allows users to access shares without requiring knowledge of the actual file location.
* Proper Use of NTFS Resource Forks - Eliminates extraneous files created by Apple’s SMB client. These dot-underscore files clutter the Windows folder and risk being orphaned if the file is deleted, which wastes disk space on the Windows volume.
* NAS Support - Allows access to many-third party network-attached-storage servers (NAS). Offerings from NetApp, EMC, and UNIX platforms running the latest Versions of Samba are compatible with DAVE.
